I bought an ibook at the end of august of this year. I am running Os 10.2.1 and I love it. I used linux mandrake on one of my older pc's and I liked using it becuase it was something different to play with. Has anybody had experience with linux mandrake on an ibook? or any other linux distro's?

I'm using Yellow Dog Linux 2.3 from Terrasoft. It's a ppc only distro. Installs easy on a iBook. Try it. If you're up to a Unix install instead of Linux, try NetBSD for the ppc...

In a few weeks the fink distribution that works with 10.2 will be out. How about simply Fink, or do you have particular exigences to have a complete linux on your computer? I do have yellow dog, but will disintall that to substitute it with Fink.
