i heard that there was a way to put all itunes music onto the hard drive to make accessing by shared folders much easier..how do i do this? any tips Please! thanks
If I understand you correctly, you would like to share one iTunes Library with multiple accounts or computers. This method will allow you to do so but you can only access the library from one account at a time.
1) Move the iTunes Library to a separate partition or hard drive that has ignore permissions set.
2) Start iTunes while holding down the option key.
3) Select the iTunes Library you just relocated in its new location.
4) Configure iTunes copy and organize its files in the new library
Repeat steps 2-4 for each account. As you are unable to have multiple users using the same iTunes configuration files at the same time, this method will only allow one user to use the iTunes Library at any one time.
