My iPhone prediction

1st time poster.. hey everybody.



What are the chances of Apple developing upcoming iPhones based on WiMax technology, once their Cingular contract is up? I don't know a ton about WiMax, but it seems this would solve lots of issues, while allowing Apple to separate themselves from Cingular.

    Apple will undoubtedly incorporate faster and more efficient networking as they become widely available and cost efficient. Look 802.11n and the Apple line up.

    Although WiMAX may indeed become the 4G standard, or at least for mufi (municipal wifi), it's still in development. So who knows? It took 802.11n many years to get to this point and it's still not finalized.
