How good is guitar band?

I am a musician, thinking about a mac, and was wondering how good is garageband coming from those of you who have used it? What are the pros, cons, and everything in between!!!'

    I'm assuming you mean Garageband, if not my apologies. Anyway it depends what you want to do with it. It is very good for getting down quick ideas and if you have never used anything to record or have only ever recorded with a cassette four track you will be astounded.

    When you're ready for the next step, Logic Express, or Ableton Live is the way to go.

    Depends what you want to do. I'd much rather use pro tools myself, but if my needs were different..........
