help me use google widget without keyboard please
Does anyone know if there is a way to keep the focus of the google widget active between uses? I like it when I can activate dashboard and the previous search term is selected and I can type a new search right away.
However, it has very unpredictable behavior as far as I can tell:
-activating dashboard with F12 = previous search never selected
-activating dashboard with mouse/screen corners = previous search sometimes selected. It seems to depend on whether I select the text or select the text box by clicking on its very edge.
Sometimes I will get a lucky streak of 3 in a row where the previous term was selected. Other times the previous search term is never selected. Other times only part of the previous term is selected.
It's the google widget from Apple. It can't be flipped over. It can't be uninstalled using the "Manage Widgets..." widget.
