My system is running Application Enhancer, Metallifizer, Labels X, Windowshade X and ClearDock.
And Apple makes spyware too, what do you think OS X is? What about every other major app from any major software developer? Don't be ridiculous. Don't be a frothing lunatic. You're making this sound as if it's all about content liberation and stupid shit like that.
The bottom line:
Unsanity software is inexpensive, stable, easy to use, and doesn't spy on your computer for anything other than your non-changing registration code.
Apparently unsanity isn't as bad as I thought after reading some remarks on their behalf.
I'm probably a bit annoyed that the one thing from unsanity that I covet, windowshade, is something which I (and I not only, though I speak only for myself here) feel should be part of OS X, as I used it like crazy in OS 9. Having to pay for something which I took for granted, it disagrees with me. I can, however, see that these people make software that pleases many, and they should get paid.
For the record, I do not own, nor use, any unsanity software.
