Adobe Streamline

Hello,

Does anyone Remember Streamline from Adobe? I Love it, except for the fact that it is super old and doesn't run in OS 10. Is there anything that is "current" and fills the hole that Streamline has left?

Send help asap.

Flick.

As much silly crap as they've thrown into Illustrator lately, I was kinda hoping Adobe would include one actual useful feature and sort of roll Streamline in to Illustrator.

As I recall (I used Streamline quite a bit, years ago), it was a pretty light and small app. I'm sure Adobe could squeeze more into Illustrator.

It kinda makes sense to me, since Illustrator is where you're actually going to end up using the traced artwork anyway.

Flash does have great tracing features...but

    <a href="http://www.silhouetteonline.com/"; target="_blank">Sillouette looks promising...</a>for OS X at least.

Is there anything else out there? ('cept Flash as this is for print)

    I'm checking out Silhouette.

And yes I agree that Illy should have streamline built in. why isn't it?

Well, might be because they would rather have a third party such as Sillouette create one...which they did. Still, their plug-in and stand alone applications are pricey...but I will probably get the stand alone when I get some extra cash...right now I'm a po' mo' fo... <img src="graemlins/oyvey.gif" border="0" alt="[No]" />
