Display problem
Last night, after arriving home with my 17" Macbook Pro, I turned it on to find the colours inverted. Thinking It was a CMD-OPT-APL-8 problem, I reinverted them, to find my display extremely dark and contrasted out. I've been tinkering ever since, and it seems to be when I move the laptop, or tap the side of the screen, its switching between the dark-but-normal-ish and inverted.
Ironically while on with Tech Support, it went back to 'normal' although my colours still aren't exactly right. For example, when I'm in Firefox, images with a 'white' background appear slightly yellow instead, when white defined in the code of the page stays white.
Any ideas? Would I be best returning the laptop, or can I sort it out from here software/settings-wise?
