Freeware V.S. end user software(Expensive Stuff)

I am a former partial BSD user, I guess I can say that I was spoiled with freeware for BSD, and since have refused to pay for software. How many people are out there that use just freeware? So far, here is a list of completely free RAD programs I have, please add to it if you have suggestions.

WeatherSnitch

Transmission

SuperTux (Never ran this good on my old freeBSD PC)

Senuti (Program for sucking music off other ipods)

Quicksilver (don't see much of a use for it)

Pac the Man X (Pac Man)

Oxidizer (for creating sweet rendered movies)

OSXplanet (really cool for background)

OnyX (OSX utility, only one I feel is needed)

OmniOutliner

MacTheRipper (ripper)

HandBrake (converts DVD's)

Democracy (Similar to You Tube, better but not as much content)

AbiWord

FlightGear (Great Flight Sim)

GameRanger (finds games for licensed software Multiplayer)

Gimp (Better than Photoshop, because it's free!!!)

Surprisingly, SourceForge is a great resource for anything you may need from design to regular users it has virtually everything. I am a complete fan of OSX BTW, and I will never tell anyone I regret switching. I hope Microsoft eats a big one, their software is like a money pit.

I'm in Nepal, and finding Mac software isn't easy. That, and I can't afford paying for software, so I've been living on mostly free software as well. Besides OS X bundles iTunes, TextEdit, Mail.app...

Namely (quick app launcher, faster than Spotlight for apps)

    Camino

    TextForge

Taco HTML Edit (quick, fast, does PHP with live preview, and transparency)

    WriteRoom (great for literature assigments)

Sidenote (IMO, on the very best stickies implementation)

Audacity (when GarageBand isn't required; quick recordings and edits)

WhatSize (when you want to clean up your HD)

    Willie (quick word count, anywhere)

Xee (replaced Preview for image viewing)

FlightGear (to learn to perfect the Cessna 172)

    Adium

Thanks to developers willing to share their creations. Very much appreciated!
