Photo Printer Recommendations, Please

my wife's epson stylus photo r320 has died. It have printed upwards of 5k 4x6 prints. she has been very happy with it, now we must start again as this model is no longer available. the r380 which appears to be the replacement looks promising, but the ink pack is $90, where the R320 was $50.



Suggestions, please.
