mac book (new)

i'm new to the mac world.



I have N cards on my PC and love them. Then I read somewhere that my MAC book has an N card already on it but you have to download something.



how do you download it and where do you put the down load ?





also just curious for future use. In Windows when you want to unistall a program you goto Add and Remove programs. How do you do this in a MAC

    I think depending on how new it is, the card may already be using N. If not, go to the Apple store and buy the enabler: http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPL...&nclm=Wireless





    If you go into the Apple menu/About this mac and poke around you should be able to tell how your card is currently set.

    i did that....I guess What I read on other site is you need to download an addon to your software. I think it was like 2 dollars but IM not sure on the site where you download software add-ons
