Does the update change the window buttons in iChat? Can anyone else confirm this?

Do you mean the lack of colour in your screen effect or the sunk in effect of the buttons. Because the sunk in look is an intentional feature of 10.2.3.

YEs, I was referring to the recessed buttons. It's intentional in iChat only? Or on the brushed metal apps, even tho QuickTime isn't affected?
