Yellowing iPod Scrollwheel

I've recently got a red iPod Nano (4GB), and I've just noticed that the plastic of the scrollwheel is going quite yellow. I've really hardly used it (probably its had like 10 minutes of touching time, with clean hands!) but I've had it since January. The yellow looks worryingly like the issue with the Macbooks. Is this a known issue? The yellow doesn't rub, wipe or scratch off.
