Itunes linked to other Mac users

I didn't know if this is a new feature, so I wanted to put it out there. I recently traveled to NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) and I brought my lap top. When I opened Itunes, I noticed several other playlists that I was connected too. Is this a new feature or one that I just haven't had any experience with since where I live (Great Northwest) and not a lot of macs around.



If this is a new feature will it be available on the new Ipod?

    This has been a feature for a while. iTunes can detect other libraries on the same router. I believe that any library can be accessed up to five times per day (there used not to be a limit). This allows you, for instance, to keep all of your music on one computer at home, but access it from any other computer in the house.
