i'm not sure what this means -- the beatles on itunes or it could have just been about the 'deal' that was made between the two apples...



in the food supplement of todays observer newspaper (in the UK) is a piece about Paul McCartney and his 2 daughters having lunch with the Observers food writer. The food writer cooked lunch for them all. Right at the end of the article Paul asks the food writer 'if he could borrow a plate as he wants to take a slice of the cheescake [they just ate] to give to Steve Jobs of Apple'.







that line is picked out as a pull quote.



i'm not sure when this was written, but it does show that steve and paul are on pretty good terms and are talking...

    I'm kind of sick of all this Beatles on iTunes talk.. they'll come to iTunes this year, there'll be a big party on the Apple.com homepage, people will download their music, and life will go on. It's not really a big deal to me at all. If you really want their music that bad you can buy in on CD anyway.
