Applescript Mail.app question... help needed please

I have no idea how to write applescript, so I was hoping someone on here would be able to help me out.
I have set up some rules on my Folders in Mail... but what I really want is to set it so that if a mail sits in a folder for a month and remains unread, then it will be automatically deleted.
I saw that in the rules I can add a rule that is an applescript, which is where I was assuming I could attach the automatically delete unread mail after a month script.
Anyone know how to write something like that?
