QuickTime and the Canon TX1 digital camera
I have just purchased the Canon TX1 digital camera. It records video at 720P using motion JPEG (avi). VLC will play the video back but these files kill QuickTime (7.1.6, G4 dual 1.42GHz), which quits or which closes a Finder window in which the file is selected if QuickTime tries to create a preview.
Anyone had experience with this camera that is different.
By the way, the video and stills are just beautiful, typical Canon.
