Security of Airport (802.11b & 11g)
I'm hoping someone out here can offer some info regarding the security of Airport. Every once in a while I hear some news-story about how some guy takes his wireless equiped laptop driving through a city or residential neighborhood and "easily" hop on other people's networks, use their bandwidth, and worse, access their computers (not in all cases).
While I don't work on "top secret" stuff, at the same time, I'd hate for one of these roving hackers to get access to my system and steal sensitive information--personal financial stuff for instance.
So how secure is Airport these days? Does 11g improve the situation or was it already improved? What are the real pros/cons to running Airport?
