sixtyforce won't work

I have an C2D 2.13Ghz Macbook with 2GB ram. I downloaded sixtyforce and mario kart 64. Sixty force opened but when i opened mario kart i saw about 2 seconds of it (the nintendo logo spining) and then it quit. I have continued to retry but it keeps on quiting almost immediately. Any suggestions?

    Sixtyforce isn't that great IMO. I got much better success using the open source Mupen 64:

    The OS X version is at 0.5 but sometimes you get newer betas in the forums. I haven't tried the new version of sixtyforce though.



    N64 emulation just isn't that great overall. I've tried all the emulators including the Windows ones and they still haven't quite got it right. SNES emulation is about the best you will find.
