I have an iMac G5 (the one with Panther) and I want to open it to insert some more RAM. How can I open a iMac case?

There are screws in the bottom of the display panel. Place the iMac face down on a cloth and loosen the screws. Then pull the stand up gently and the entire back of the machine should come off. I think the Ram is near the bottom but I can't remember - you'll be able to find it quite easily though. The new Intel machines have a little flap at the bottom so you don't need to take the back off.
