No tap in safari

Did anyone else notice that safari is the only OS.X app (or at least the only one I can think of/regularly use) that doesn't allow you to tap the touchpad on your powerbook. Every other program I can think of that I use on a regular basis, it lets you tap just like tapping the button.

I just find this very curious.

okay, I'm a dope. At least I know it now! Thanks for your responses. After finding out that I was the only one, I realized there was obviously more to it than what I thought! Sure enough, tapping is off by default on Jaguar, and since I just upgraded on Monday to Jaguar, I hadn't turned it back on. Safari just happens to be the only program I've attempted it in since then!

    Thanks anyway.
