I was reading somewhere before that when Tiger was released there was either a 30 or 90 day grace period where if you had just bought a mac you can get the OS for free when it came out. Has anyone heard anything similar for Leopard?
I can't vouch for a 90-day grace period, but the basics of what you heard is correct.This is standard operating procedure for Apple. There is no reason to expect it to change.
