if you were eligble for the free Mac OS X, then you are eligable for this offer as well
This is great, Apple is really stepping up on providing educational software prices (but not hardware discounts... $50 only?!) so people with older computers will think of buying this package....
Now, if only Apple could lower the Keynote requirements.... that is a lot of RAM for a school computer to have, 256MB....
I had set up 8 iMacs with the free Mac OS X, it was a pretty sweet thing. Now, to teach the teachers how to use 'em.... <img src="graemlins/cancer.gif" border="0" alt="[cancer]" /> <img src="graemlins/cancer.gif" border="0" alt="[cancer]" />
<strong>Yeah I'm gonna jump on that. Are you eligible Scott? Didn't know you were faculty.</strong><hr></blockquote>
I'm close enough. Apple couldn't tell the difference. They have a faculty job for me but my wife can't find a job in fscking ann arbor (or anywhere around it). Fscking fly over country
I'm on vacation this week

What do you do up in Ann Arbor?
Maybe your wife could open a shop, or a restaurant... everyone likes food! If you can't find a job, make your own! <img src="graemlins/cancer.gif" border="0" alt="[cancer]" /> <img src="graemlins/cancer.gif" border="0" alt="[cancer]" /> <img src="graemlins/cancer.gif" border="0" alt="[cancer]" />

<strong>It is total bullshit that it doesnt apply to administrative positions, as both my parents work in administrative positions. </strong><hr></blockquote>
It could, just ask your parents to order it. If they have a mailbox at school, they will get it probably.... I bet so, my mom does plays, not a full time teahcer, but a director, she has a box, and that is all Apple cares about.... i bet <img src="graemlins/cancer.gif" border="0" alt="[cancer]" /> <img src="graemlins/cancer.gif" border="0" alt="[cancer]" /> <img src="graemlins/cancer.gif" border="0" alt="[cancer]" /> <img src="graemlins/cancer.gif" border="0" alt="[cancer]" />

To qualify for the program, you must be a full-time faculty member currently employed at a recognized two-year or four-year post-secondary institution and you must agree to have the software delivered to your institution address.
Does this mean you have to teach at a College? Or can you still get it if you work at a high school?
