Previous Setup
1 X G4 Xserve
1 X G5 Xserve
Both with windows sharing on. (We have 1 PC, among 140 macs). File and Folder navigation was good with both servers, just as good as the Macs.
New Setup
The G4 Xserve has been replaced with a new Intel Xserve.
Problem - File/Folder Navigation on the new Intel Xserve is really poor with the single PC, 10 to 15 seconds between folders opening. The G5 is still fine. So does anyone have an idea what the problem could be?
