How about rosetta for PPC so you can run Intel Apps, anyone heard anything about that? Cause if the day comes where software is written for Intel only would be nice...

Although we know that it is not true and will never happen, what you are suggesting has already been address in a different way. All Intel-compatible MacOS X software is supposed to be Universal Binary. Luckily, most developers follow the rules. Hopefully, the release of the iPhone will show those who think the x86 is the end-all-and-be-all the error of their ways.
