iTunes cnt seem to play much of anything without killing my CPU...MP3 rips from CDs, m4a purchases, and such take like 80% CPU and video is almost unusable.
Using 1.2ghz mac mini with 1 gig of ram, tiger and all updates...any advice?
I've noticed that video is unacceptable on my XP PC. And I just wiped and reinstalled windows to make the computer faster, but that didn't work for iTunes. The only thing that sped up was the Coverflow, which is nice and smooth now. Also, I have fast PC so its not just your computer.

For XP, make sure you have the latest version of DirectX (9.0C) and your latest GPU driver (even if it is integrated, the proper intel driver makes a huge differance, as does the latest DX)
