Xgrid Lite apparently opens up OS X's distributed computing capabilities to those of us with only client versions of Tiger.



Say I network my 1GHz G4 TiBook and 1.25GHz G4 iMac via a 400Mbps Firewire IP connection I assume I can then get iMovie/iDVD on the iMac to farm some of the work out to the PB's G4.



Does anyone know how to achieve this?

    I think applications themselves must support XGrid (whether full or lite or whatever) first before you can farm out tasks. iMovie/iDVD may not have any XGrid support... AFAIK
