External Blu Ray for macbook

I am looking at purchasing an external Blu ray drive to hook up to a macbook. my only fear is that the Intel GMA950 gpu wont suffice for the intense graphic output for blu ray. Correct? Or should I ask, is it even possible to do that? Would i encounter reading and recognizability issues?
