MacJanitor 1.0

I have an iBook with OS 10.2.3, I have noticed that my computer slows sometimes and feel like I have a lot of old files or not needed files. Should I run MacJanitor 1.0, I leave my computer on at night but have it go to sleep, will MacJanitor 1.0 help. I read that I should use it if I am running OS 10.1, any help.

    I can't see it hurting, though there's some confusion about whether or not the housekeeping tasks MacJanitor performs are now actually run by the OS at times when the machine is likely to be on or durin shutdown/restart (if it's sleeping, they won't happen, just to be clear).
