in april i plan on moving out. i'm going to probably be moving into a small appartment. for a television i'd just like to possibly receive shows and whatnot on my macbook pro ( when i get it when leopard comes out ) so that i can just play it on my future monitor. is there anyway?

edit: i was looking at this http://www.elgato.com/index.php?file...ecount=2&goto=

would a basic television cable wire screw onto the end? if so i've found the solution.

Yes that would work fine, it's a great tuner. Another option is a Slingbox which will let you watch TV on your Macbook no matter where you are as long as there is a net connection. I like this option even at home because it eliminates the need to plug a wire into your Macbook. I do not have personal experience with a Slingbox, though I hear the quality can be good. Probably never as good as the EyeTV Hybrid though.
