Airport Extreme problem

I am having a bizarre airport extreme problem.
  • bought a new macbook and airport extreme yesterday

  • everything works great

  • BUT I can't manage the airport extreme...everytime I try to access it, it tells me that I need to switch to that network and then says there was a problem

  • when I click on the wireless icon in the menu bar it shows that I am connected to my network

Also when I try to connect to the network after waking the computer, it shows the same problem. But if I wait a minute, it all works fine.



Any ideas how to fix this????



This is my first mac so I might be doing something stupid here.

    How are you accessing the airport extreme to manage it? Which version of airport extreme are you using, and what version is its firmware?

    I ended up taking it back to the Apple Store. They checked it out and agreed that something was wrong with the Airport Extreme and gave me a new one which is working perfectly.
