Mac IE feature vs. Windows IE feature?

On IE on the Mac you have the ability for multiple downloads and setting how many at a time. One of the features I hope Safari will have this soon. The current one sucks.

How come on IE Windows I can only download 2 files at a time and where in the hell is the option to change this (if there is one...)

    I think so, yes.

Mac IE and Win IE don't have much to do with each other.

Mac IE and Windows IE are two totally different codebases, developed independently. Things will be much less confusing if you treat them as two completely different applications that happen to have the same name - which is what web designers have had to do for years now.

I use IE on Windows as little as possible. I'll repost from work if I find anything to answer your question, though.

Thanks Amorph. Anything on where and how to set Windows IE's Download Manager (if it even has one) to download more than 2 files at a time will be great...

They should do, though strictly speaking the coders should put TITLE vaules into the image tags for the icons.

Try a different browser: it could just be that Microsoft sucks on Macs...
