i would imagine it wont be too long before widgets are on the touch. i dont see why not. but probably optional since not everyone has wifi availabe to them

So am I mistaken, or is the iPod Touch just an iPhone without the phone?
It appears so. A few other applications like e-mail also differentiate the two products.
