macbook pro core duo - upgraded wireless n - now ram problem
Really bizarre, I bought a wireless N upgrade from fastmac.com, followed all the directions and was extremely careful on every step, no issues. however after putting it all back together my lower ram slot no longer recognizes either of my 1gb chips. (they both work in the top one, I've tested this).
Any tips? I've verified its pushed in firmly, tried it repeatedly with both pieces of ram but no go. I don't see how this could get affected. I gave a light blast of canned air to see if something was stuck in there, but i can't see anything.
wireless N works great however. bummer part is I'll have to put the 'G' back in if I bring it in to Apple for service...
