Duplicate CDs

in iPod + iTunes + AppleTV edited January 2014
this has been an ongoing problem that i have yet to address. Multiple times in my iTunes library, i have multiple songs from the same album, but instead of them being listed as the same album on my ipod or on cover flow they think they are two seperate albums. How can i get rid of this? Any help would be great. thanks.

    ok, two seconds after i posted the R.E.M. one i realized that the "." after M was missing on one



    my bad. Lets see if this works with the others (subtle mistakes)

    although that worked for R.E.M., there are still many songs with the same artist and album information that arent combining into one album

    Capitalization matters.



    Fountains of Wayne



    and



    Fountains Of Wayne



    will appear separately.



    Also, it reads from both the Artist and Album Artist ID3 tags, so if the Artist is the same but the Album Artist is different it may cause issues.
