ITMS authorization

I've had a few Macs over the last 5 years that I've had ITMS music authorized to. Now I only have one MacbookPro, but I'm told there are still2 machines authorized - and a couple of my previous purchases say they cannot play due to not being authorized on my machine.

How can I sort this out?

Yeah, thanks for the advice. Unfortunately my computer was stolen. The theif didn't offer me the opportunity of de-authorizing before he took it.

There are also 3 tracks iTunes says it can't copy to iPod because 'they are not found' even thought the files are there on my harddrive...?

    No lesson to be learned.

Simply email the iTMS support address and ask them to deauthorize all computers for your account. Next time you fire up iTunes on your current computer, simply reauthorize it for your iTS account. Problem solved.

As for missing tracks? Those are likely lost, just like a lost CD.
