Are Birthdays allowed in .mac AB?

I synced my AB with my .mac AB and in checking the data, noticed that the Birthday field does not seem to be present in the .mac AB. Am I missing something or is that field simply not available in the .mac AB?

p.s. oh yeah - I searched the KB and didn't see the answer, and I'm still waiting for a response from the Apple discussion boards. Sorry, I'm impatient.

    When viewing a contact, click card>add field>birthday.

That's what I've done in the desktop AB - but when you sync it with the .mac AB the field doesn't appear. Everything else is there. I think that the birthday field simply isn't available in the .mac AB, even if it is in the desktop AB.

My bad! I completely missed that distinction in your post. So, um. I revise my answer to the following: I don't know.

    From the Apple moderator:

    Hello Gobble Gobble,

The .Mac Address Book does not contain a birth date field, so this data is not synchronized from your desktop Address Book. I have filed your enhancement request, but I would recommend that you send feedback using the .Mac Feedback Form.

    Thanks,

    William
