iTunes 7.4 number sorting workaround.
Some of us are annoyed that Apple changed the sorting behavior, putting numbered listings after alphabetical listings instead of before.
The workaround is to use the "sorting" fields in iTunes to force it to sort in the right order. For instance, if the track is by 808 State, change the name under "Sort Artist" to aaa808 State. For 10000 Maniacs change "Sort Artist" to aaa10000 Maniacs etc.
You can do the same for title and album, etc.
Unfortunately, you can't batch change these sort settings, so you have to do it one by one. The fastest way is to use the "next" button on the individual info screen.
