Buying a MacBook

I would like to buy a MacBook for my son maybe the Combo one, are there any news about a possibility fo having the MacBook basic including SuperDrive ?



Or maybe the touchscreen Macbooks ?



Is stupid to buy something and the 2 months later is coming out something new.



Is ok for teh Combo version only, I don0't think will burn many DVD.

    There will possibly be new Macbooks out in October, if not they will likely come out around January. There will not be touchscreen Macbooks in this update. It's your decision on whether it's stupid or not, judge based on how much your son needs the Macbook at the current time, if you can wait I would consider it. If he isn't burning DVDs the combo should be fine.

    If you like too, check out the refurb Macbooks that pop up on Apple's online store, some good savings and still full apple warranty. So it helps save the sting of a new one coming out in a few months if they do!
