    Is there any way to get this to work with XP Home? My room mate has a top end brand new Dell but it has XP Home not XP Pro.



    Also this trick looks cool, it lets you run multiple instances of RDC so you can connect to more than one PC. Just duplicate the app and open both up! From here <a href="http://:http://www.macdevcenter.com/pub/a/mac/2002/11/19/mac_pc.html?page=2"; target="_blank">O'Reilly</a>

    According to the readme, only new thing is the ability to connect to a specific port instead of just the default port.

    I don't know that there's a way to get RDC to work with XP home. If your roommate is a CS/Engr student then URI may have some sort of Microsoft Developer Alliance program where he can get XP Professional for free.
