what happens if i need to use an iphone in two countries?

does anyone know what happens to those people who have a sim card in two different countries? sofar i could just easily switch simcards and not need two seperate phones. will the exclusive deal apple is making with the phone companies in different countires require one to have two iphones?



would it be possible to just get the sim cards from the companies that apple has made its deals with in both countires and then use one iphone? or is that impossible?
