Mighty Mouse - Cannot open

How do you open the Mighty Mouse to replace the battery?



There is a little (1 cm) button on the back, but when I push it, nothing happens. I am afraid that I will break the mouse. This is a poor design for Apple.

    slide the little thing below the apple logo down and pop the bottom off







    replace batteries and press the bottom back on



    the "slider" above the apple logo is for turning the mouse off
