iPod/iTunes managing software?

Hey! So I ordered an iPod Touch and its coming on Monday. I have more media in itunes then I'd like to put on it so I was wondering if there are any freeware programs out there that let you organize what you put on your ipod more specifically? Like the latest 5 podcasts of podcast X but all of the podcasts from podcast y. Stuff like that.

    You can do all of that from within iTunes itself. Just use playlists and smart playlists. Put all the music you want in an iPod Touch playlist. If you want the 5 latest podcasts from a certain one, you can make a smart playlist to do that. Just experiment a little.

    I've tried stuff like that but I was just wondering if there was any third party apps. I may just have to figure out a way to sync it using itunes playists when i get it.

    Why use a 3rd party app for the sake of? iTunes will take care of everything, as posted above.
