Sorry for the title, but there are interesting implications with a new IBM/Google tie-up, mostly for extra inroads into university grid computing using IBM hardware.

    As a protest and carbon offset etc. etc. I am now running folding at home on my work server (which has to be on all the time day and night, runs the CCTV) [keeping the PC at 50% CPU load through the day/night.].... IbM? *I*t can *b*ite *m*myass.
