Screen goes to sleep when scratched CD is put in.
So. I'm asking this on behalf of a resident whose 2nd revision 15" MBP keeps shutting off the screen when a scratched CD is inserted into the drive.
He did it with me there and it didn't happen, but he claims it happens all the time. Does anyone have any idea what is happening. He has been having some issues with transitioning to a Mac, and I think this may have a really simple solution. Any thoughts?
