Apple will be spinning off the computer divison into a new company called NeXT. This transition will allow Apple Inc. to concentrate on consumer electronics. The spinoff which will be named NeXT computers will be selling the existing line up of desktops and laptops, they will sport a new black color across the board, the Mac Pro for example will be black anodized aluminum and will sport a NeXT logo on the panels in the shape of a isometric cube. Owners of AAPL stock will receive 1.5 shares of NeXT for every share of AAPL held.



This announcement will happen this afternoon at 4:30

    Apple is buying out Orange, they want to use their trademark. They will train all employees of Orange on the iPhone, and they'll take the name down off all Orange storefronts. They will replace them all with a aluminum and glass facades, with a simple, small glowing Orange. They will change the name of the iPhone and the iPod to, quite simply, Orange & Orange Phone. Orange nano, Orange shuffle etc. They'll keep their computers with the Apple logo, and brand all their consumer electronics Orange, as to cause no confusion.
