How can I tell how hot my Mac mini is?

Hi,

I just received my Mac mini C2D 1.83Ghz in the mail the other day.

And I have taken it apart just to see what's inside the little thing, but I noticed that there is a something that looks to me like a thermistor on the CPU heatsink.

Is there a way to tell (while in the OS) how hot the processor is?

I'm not having any problems or anything, just curious.

Any responses are appreciated!

Parker

There are several applications and widgets which can show you the temperature of your Mac's innards.

Personally, I use the iStat Pro widget. The iStat Nano widget will also do the business.

For a bunch of other apps, have a look at MacUpdate.com or VersionTracker.com

I like teh iStat pro. Free too! My dashboard *must* have it at all times, otherwise something feels "empty".
