Buying iPod on Leopard launch date

Yes, tomorrow is the Leopard launch date, but unfortunately, I don't have a Mac. I am going on vacation day after tomorrow so I would like to buy myself an iPod Classic 80GB black. I live really close to an Apple Store (Stamford, CT), but I am afraid that I won't be able to buy an iPod. My 5G iPod recently broke (hard drive doesn't work). Is the store going to be closed until 6PM? Will there be a lot of chaos? Oh, and I can't go to the Apple Store before 5PM because I am working 'till then.

So basically, would the apple store be open at 5PM and will there be a lot of chaos?

    Can you go at like 7pm or 8pm. Things will have died down a little bit.
