Leopard Boot Camp: Non-Windows OS's

Has anybody tried to install operating systems other than Windows on Boot Camp in Leopard?



Since Apple has decided not to include Java 6 in Leopard, I need to use another OS with Java. I'd rather not use Windows.



Apparently, this worked in the Boot Camp Beta for Tiger, which Apple has pulled. I'd rather get Leopard and have an officially supported way of running another OS on my Mac.



Since I only have 1.5 Gb of RAM, running that other OS within VMWare will not give me the performace I need. I need access to all my RAM and full screen.

    I believe linux to be your best choice, due to good hardware support. I see no reason why bootcamp in Leopard would be different from pre-Leopard, so yes.
