how to send files from leopard to vista?

i want to do a clean install of vista and wipe everything. i was wondering how i could send the files on my computer now, which is leopard to my parents computer which is vista over the network. a while ago i had tried to connect to theirs on tiger but i couldn't find their computer. anyone know how?
